Simple Bunny Variations:
- Add whiskers
- Make a pom pom tail with yarn
- Add a bow around the bunny’s neck
- Give the bunny some googly eyes
- Use fabric fur in place of the yarn
Instructions
- Glue the yarn in strips across the wood bunny using hot glue until the bunny is completely covered in yarn. Make sure to leave any gaps and keep your lines of yarn as straight as possible. This is the most time consuming step of the project. It does take about 45 minutes to add the yarn to the bunny, so listen to some music or watch something on TV while you work on it!
- Make the bunny ears and foot pads out of the pink ribbon.
- Add all the accessories with dabs of hot glue to your bunny craft.

Dollar Tree Easter Bunny Craft
Equipment
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 hot glue gun
- glue sticks
Materials
- 1 wood easter bunny
- 1 skein chenille yarn
- 1 pink glitter ribbon
- 1 twine carrot
- 3 pink floral stems (optional)
- 1 transulent pink ribbon (optional)
Instructions
- Glue the yarn to the wooden bunny. Add a strip of hot glue across the bunny in a straight line starting at the bottom and add a piece of yarn on top of the glue, going all the way across. Try to make sure your lines are straight.
- Then, trim the excess yarn off the sides. I try to line up the first end with the wood so I have less to cut off.
- Continue gluing the yarn to the bunny until it is completely full. This part will take about 45 minutues.
- After your bunny is covered in yarn, glue down your accessories like the carrot, bow and flowers.
- Cut out shapes out of your ribbon for the bunny's ears and feet pads. I just eyeballed it and hand cut them. Then, copied it by adding the first shape on top of the ribbon and cutting around the shape.
- Glue your bunny's ears and feet pads to the yarn bunny.
