Fall Wreaths FAQ
Decide on the primary feature(s) of your wreath. Do you want a burlap wreath? A fall leaf wreath? A deco mesh wreath?
Once you have decided that, choose an appropriate base. There are many different kinds of wreath forms, such as wire, straw, foam, or grapevine. Each form works better with some materials than others. For instance, if you want a deco mesh wreath, a wire form is your best option as a base.
Next, add some embellishments and accent pieces. Incorporate additional autumn decorative elements like mini signs, pinecones, mini pumpkins, ribbons, or faux fall leaves to give your wreath a layered look.
Hang it with a fall ribbon or wreath hanger. Whether it’s on your front door, above your fireplace, or in your dining room, it’s sure to add a touch of cozy autumn warmth to your space!
Fall wreaths can be adorned with natural or faux elements like fall leaves, dried wheat, pinecones, corn husks, bittersweet, and acorns. You can also add seasonal touches like mini pumpkins and gourds. Don’t forget to add a textured touch to your wreath with burlap, ribbons, yarn, or deco mesh in seasonal colors.
Don’t forget to personalize your wreath with small wooden signs, letters, or fairy lights to make it unique and special.

I’m sorry but I don’t have the instructions for that particular wreath. I could not find the original source for that project. Here is a tutorial to a similar project though.

Hi Carolyn,
I know which wreath you are referring to, but can’t find a tutorial for that exact one. However, here is a tutorial for a similar one.
Hope that helps!

Hey. Quick question about your felt leaves and lace wreath. What size do you make each leaf petal?
It is BEAUTIFUL!!!
prudentpennypincher.com says
Hi Debbie,
That’s a good question!
It doesn’t specify how big each leaf, only that it takes eight 8.5″ x 11″ pieces of felt to make the wreath. My guess would be about 1-1.5 inches each.
The tutorial to make the wreath is here: https://www.burlapandblue.com/leaves-and-lace-felt-wreath/. They would be better able to answer your question.

Wonderful ideas. I volunteer and teach classes at a Senior Center. The seniors are interested in the burlap witches hat wreath. But there aren’t any instructions. Do you have a supply list and instructions for this item? We have to supply our own items. We need to decide if making this is feasible for the seniors to do with help. This is the one they have chosen to do. Thank you.
