My favorite pieces –that I absolutely recommend– are the tiered tray, mini gnomes, wood bead garland, and the Christmas truck (which actually has little lights in it).
Since I went with a neutral black and white color scheme, I used some mini christmas trees and a lambs ear garland (that I cut up into sprigs) to add some greenery and a pop of color. You could even add some red berries for more color.
I prefer a two tiered tray over one with three tiers because the bigger the tray, the more it costs to decorate it especially if you swap items out seasonally. It only takes me 5 minutes to style the smaller tray so I think its the perfect size without spending much time or effort on it. The one I have is from Amazon and I highly recommend it because its sturdily build and well made. It often goes on sale for 50% off so keep an eye out for the sales.
How to Decorate a Tiered Tray for Christmas:
To style a tiered tray display, You want to layer it so that everything will be visible. Make sure you have different sized items. Start with the larger items like the mini-trees and the truck. These will be your focal points. Then, add the medium sized items (e.g candles, signs) around the large items. Finally, fill in gaps with any small pieces like thee gnomes and mini village pieces. After that is all done, I added the pieces of the lamb’s ear garland to fill in any remaining spaces.
